Infrared Heater Controls

While infrared heaters (both electric and gas) work by heating objects and people rather than the air, they can be controlled by using traditional thermostats that regulate air temperature in spaces after the objects and mass have been heated.

Because infrared products have a long service life and are traditionally mounted out of reach, most won’t come with integrated control systems. When designing a system for a home, restaurant, bar, or other application, we focus on providing the best control option for the system that suits the space being heated, whether that’s indoor, outdoor, domestic, or commercial fitting.

From simple on/off switches to duplex stack switches to INF input regulators to programmable thermostats, we offer an assortment of various controls that are available in different configurations, including in-wall or surface mount options, with or without weatherproof covers. Along with that, we also provide additional accessories such as feet and tripods which can transform certain products into free standing heaters.

We offer a wide range of controls that offer the flexibility and functionality to best meet the needs of any residential or commercial property application. The convenience to adjust heating intensity, optional timer functions, and maximize energy efficiency as well as creating multiple heating zones with one or more heaters on each zone. For larger jobs, we will custom build relay panels in our UL 508 panel shop to meet your application requirements, and every panel is tested to align with our quality standards before leaving our factory.

INF input regulators are designed for use with single element heaters.

• Low cost control option for single element heaters up to 3000 watts (maximum 15 amps).
• Not a dimmer - INF gently cycles the heater on/off at regular intervals when not on full power.
• Each heater must have its own INF input regulator.
• Regulator part numbers listed below are for 240V (also available for 120V).
