Infrared Radiant Heaters - Commercial Heating Outdoor Space
Radiant heating systems supply heat directly from the heat source to the people and objects in the room via infrared radiant heat transfer. Radiant heating is more efficient than baseboard or forced-air heating because infrared radiant heaters heat objects in the environment that warm up and radiate back rather than heating the air. Electric infrared produces virtually instant heat so there is no need to wait for heat buildup. Turn the heaters on just prior to needing the heat in the space you need it, and that reduces your overall operating costs.
A heated quartz element emits a safe, clean wavelength of light that is only absorbed by solid objects, transferring heat directly to a person, table, or floor rather than heating the air. Most types of infrared heaters can be used outdoors, providing it is entirely shielded from rain and wind driven rain, but typically quartz lamp heaters are used because they reach higher temperatures and they are less susceptible to heat loss from wind because of less mass to hold heat, which can be lost to a rise in temperature of the air crossing it.
Infrared heat can be distributed very evenly and will not simply "blow away" in windy or drafty conditions. Medium wave quartz element heaters emit a barely discernible, pleasing glow that will not affect the ambience of your gathering, while short-wave or halogen electric heaters produce a bright-colored orange light which many people find appealing as they can "see" that the heat is on.
As a restaurant, bar, country club, hotel, school manager, or owner, you value your outdoor spaces, even more so in 2020. Here you will find all the electric and natural gas heaters you need, available in stand up, ceiling, or wall-mount styles.
